More Ultra Wide Angle

The 14-30 f/4 by Nikon inspires and enjoys me the more I use it. For recent trips, I found myself walking with this lens glued to the camera. Above, you see a typical example, taken in the World Heritage Site in Völklingen.

If you have have visited the remainders of the ironworks, I strongly advise to go there. In the nearby wind hall they left the old installations and use the space for exhibitions of all sorts.

Currently, it is an exhibition about Africa, featuring African art and history, including the unimaginable things that happens during the time when thus huge continent was colonized.

I also took the wide lens for a trip to Saarburg, a pittoreske touristic place. The wide lens offers unique chances to capture the place even though everything is narrow.

Sometimes, the wide lens it too wide. For the image below, I had to crop quite a bit, reducing the image to around 6MP.

I showed pictures of trees already in another post about this lens. Here is one more which would be impossible without a wide lens. I want to come back to this place when the light is a bit more favorable, possible in a foggy situation.
